In November 1996 it finally happened... I stepped on the plane to Winnipeg to record my first ever 'real' album in collaboration with folksinger Rick Unruh. In retrospect I am amazed how we ever managed to record an entire album in 8 days with musicians I don't normally play with. I am also amazed how man can live inside a freezer and have a wonderful time! Survival instinct I guess...
Many great musicians participated in this recording...to create a very mellow blend of acoustic, folksy songs that -so my friends tell me-have 'relaxing qualities'.
